Meet Todd

Todd Ruppel wears many hats in the running community, including race director, running club president, coach, and marathoner. But his passion lies with races; he is the expert. Since 2010, Todd has organized and directed at least two annual road races, from children's fun runs to half marathons. Within those years, he has dealt with emergency course changes, inclement weather, late deliveries, missing race medals, broken sound systems, and most recently a pandemic. However, with the proper preparation and knowledge, his races have continued to be successful, growing in race participation by 25% year after year and impressively raising and donating more than $550,000 from race profits.

Todd achieved all of this while working full-time and constantly volunteering at events. He's completed 19 marathons, 9 of which were the Boston Marathon, and ran countless NYC and community races throughout his career. Todd knows races, and it shows. His 10k race was voted one of the best in the country by Runner’s World Magazine, numerous local news articles highlighted his races and successes, and he received the Laurance S. Rockefeller Award for Service and an award for Accommodation from the Sleepy Hollow Volunteer Ambulance Squad.
